Paulo Coelho calls it your “Personal Legend” in his novel, The Alchemist, but it’s been labeled many other things – your calling, your mission, your purpose, your dream, your destiny – but I call it your Bliss. The question is, how do you discover it, the thing that would help to fulfill your life’s goals and ambitions?
At times, it may feel like your Bliss is a secret, created to keep you on an ever-searching quest. It’s not. It’s actually ready for you, waiting for you to realize that it’s been there in front of you your whole life, urging you to Get Out of Your Own Way!You can find your Bliss, whether it’s becoming an author, an actor, a doctor, a teacher, a CEO, a pilot or any other trade, through the simple act of education. However, it’s important to note that formal education is admirable and will help you get a job, but it’s SELF-EDUCATION that will lead you to your Bliss.What do you spend your free time studying, reading, and learning about? What interests you in times of personal reflection and solitude? It’s in these times of voluntary Self-Education, that your Personal Legend, Your Calling, Your Purpose, Your Bliss, is revealed to you.
